Bengalooru....y so dirty???

Today while coming back home i was just passing time looking out of the window in bus.I was disrupted by a plastic bag filled with air inside it trying to run with the wind.As i watched it disappear, i happened to see a lot of plastic bags,unwanted bottles,papers thrown almost everywhere.Even the drainage that is built in-between the roads for rain water flow had become roadside shop keeper's unofficial "USE ME" leading to clogged drains.As I observed, people were busy filling up every possible place with waste and some people were even spitting just next to them...For sometime i felt as if i was sitting inside a dustbin..

People are becoming so careless about their city.For instance,on the occasion of "Virat Hindu Samavesha" that happened nearby to my place in hosur road, young enthusiastic volunteers had decorated whole bangalore with orange coloured plastic banners and flags..They took many days to tie all these banners and posters to propagate this event..Now the 'samavesha' is over, but the flags n torn banners are still there infact on road,trees,vehicles,lakes flying almost everywhere.No one is bothered about removing them..It is so surprising that educated people are doing this!!!...Everyone wants a shortcut to get rid of the waste and the place to throw this is-> any place which is already littered by others..Even if our government takes initiative to clean-up our garden city (i still dont wanna name it as garbage city), i am sure it will take years..

Let us not follow others and wait for the government to take the initiative..Let us try our best to keep our city clean in whatever way we could and make it a comfortable n healthy place to live..Live n Let live!!!
