Boy and Jamoon!

This happened two days back.I was having lunch with two of my batchmates in one of the fast food center,when Suddenly a small boy around 9-10 years popped in front of us from nowhere and asked us to buy him an icecream.I was surprised at first, as usually people come and ask for money in those places but this guy was asking for icecream!!!..May be he was tempted seeing lots of college girls enjoying their ice creams in the nearby ice-cream parlour and his human instincts (out of control,offcourse) forced him to come and ask us..Eventhough my heart told me to buy him one,my mind told him to buy him something that fills his stomach..so i told him,"i will not buy u ice-cream,instead u choose whatever u want from the menu that fills ur stomach n i will get u that"..He honestly told "NO,i dont want..i want icecream"..Then i became a bit angry and i told him i will not buy him..For 2-3 min he was not to be seen.Once again he appeared and this time he asked me "akka,atleast juice"..As i was stuck to my previous decision,i blindly told him "i am not gonna change my decision,so no juice also".I was just thinking can't this young boy eat some good food so that he will not feel hungry for atleast 3-4 hours,instead of some icecream which is of no use.Just a min after that i really felt bad for what i did...We are human beings,and its our tendency to like something that we dont get whenever we wish for it...so we always try to have it or atleast dream about having it..That boy looked like an orphan and may be if his parents were there, he would not have begged us to get him what he wanted like this..That boy was somewhere confident that we are going to buy something for him so, he was just wandering around us.As i had ordered for jamoon,i called him and asked him whether he would like to have jamoon..oh my god,he was so happy and told "yes akka,i would love to have it"..I gave him the plate with two jamoons.He took the plate with his glowing face ..No need to say,i also felt very happy seeing him enjoying yummy jamoons!!!
