Sad news

Two days back i was very saddened reading about the untimely death of Guru Freddy because of cancer.Guru Freddy was the Belgian `Swamiji' of Somanahalli.I remember his interesting speech on mind-body integration during our outbound training in his Gurukul. We had a great time doing river crosssing, mountaineering, rock climbing, cave exploration, obstacle course and other adventurous activities. We dint know how the time had passed and felt three days was too less to explore the whole place. The 15 acre land is full of green trees, birds, hills and beautiful land scapes...Out of the city, this ashrum is very pleasent and cool and you will enjoy yourself for sure..I really appreciate Freddy's wonderful work and effort in converting waste land into a beautiful forest.I am sure the ashrum will miss its father.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to his ashrum's family members and friends..May his soul rest in peace.

Its really sad, he was someone whom i can only compare with Shri Shri Ravishankar. Guru Freddy has established his own order on the Art of Living.
Our time there in 2003 was a truly wonderful experience. I have always wanted to visit the camp a second time. Hope i can in the near future.
