what is happiness????
I had been to skin clinic recently as my face had some sunburns and lost its natural glow...the skin specialist examined my skin and suggested two types of treatments...the total cost for the two treatments and two skin creams was nearly 10000 Rs...i felt that the cost was pretty too much and asked her to reduce the cost as it was priced too high....she went and spoke to her other collegues and gave 10% discount...still i felt it was too high and i told her to reduce still...As i had mentioned in the information form that i am a student, she came and told that she is giving 15% discount as i am a student...but actually speaking, i was no more a student as i have finished my course.... If i wanted i would have availed for that discount as my student id is valid till 2008....but my heart did not agree to that and i felt that after getting that 15% discount i will not be happy as that will be always there in the mind and whenever i go for the treatment i feel as if i am cheating someone....for 5% extra discount i was not ready to loose my happiness...so i honestly told them that i am not a student anymore and got 10% discount and came out of the clinic happily...i felt proud about myself for what i did and realised the meaning of real happiness.

mebbe u shud have told them not to give u 10% discount also.. that way u cud have felt even more happier :p
I'm glad u believe in keeping a clean conscience...after all that is the true you. It's what u see in the mirror (after this very expensive treatment is complete) and you'd look even more beautiful. After all beauty is more than just skin deep :)
Well, I appreciate that you follow your heart...But i think you should have taken that extra 5% discount...In a place like India, you should not be a 100% honest person...people dont deserve that... This would make you a loser..C'mon, by taking that discount, nobody is loosing..I understand the Questioning by your Conscience...that 500 rs would not make any great difference on the balance sheet of the co..if you were so reluctant to take the money to you..you could have spend that money on ppl who are much much needier than the co, for whom that much money makes a huge difference..I see this as a lost oppurtunity...
